Happy Birthday SINGAPORE!!!

Long weekends :P But no plans at all~
Friday had a fun dinner with my TLA buddies. Celebrated "my buddy mei nu" pre-b'day!
Her birthdays falls on 17th Aug 2010 same as Yong Peng (another TLA colleague of ours) . I had choosen Fish & CO. at the glasshouse, JUST because to SABO her~ kekekkekk:X

Fish & co. provides this kind of b'day service, whereby crew members will sing to the b'day person~ they will bring in the cake, sing their fish and co. b'day song, get the person to stand on the chair, lights a firesticks(CNY play de) & cheer super loud so that the whole restaurant is staring at the B"DAY person :) lol~

She was not aware of any cake or what. So we just simply gave her, her present~ SLIPPERS!!! (one of her b'day wishing list) :

A little card (more of a extra wastage from my office) i made out of it :X kekekek~ But its nice afterall okie :)

 Sweet right ;) kekekke~  Last minute got minmin to help send the pics and print it out in black & white :X

Our delicious Seafood platter feast!!! The prawns are like TIGER prawns huge and delicious :P But i still prefer to have "Mahattan", i find their rice is much more nicer :X ops :P

My first time having Pizza in Fish & Co. The base is not bread kind :) is more of Crust .

Her mission is to blow of the candles while still standing on the chair :) And worst thing is, we change the candles to those where you BLOW BLOW BLOW it stills lights on :X lol~ So she is like BLOWING like siao NON-STOP ;X

Saturday!!! Its a day out with PEPPER :)

We went to Pasir Ris Park for a walk. But he simply walks awhile than wants Dear to carry him. Lazy BUM.

After that head to Pasir ris pet farm .Where pepper takes his second time SWIM :X

He stills look worried . But at least this time round . He dont just STAND there. We move away from him. He will follow us and not just STAND and don't move at all. See how he struggles. He is really good in TWO FEET!

Huge Labrador :) he is like.. On and off jumping in and out of the pool. Think because his HOT. and the water is Cooling. Pepper is not scared of him :P

He was doing great. Until this disturbing little small dog. Came to disturb him. So cute lar~ this white little dog, jumps into the pool (like nobody business) swims towards pepper and splash water. And kept on disturbing pepper :x lol~ pepper dislike and keep on running away ~ thats where pepper stops. And he starts to shiver :X So we let him out and bath him :X lol~

After a day of walk and swim. Pepper had a nice sleep at night :)

NTUC fairprice selling $1.50. It taste abit like "chicken in a basket". Ops:X next week its my turn to cook for them :X Oh goosh~ kill me. i shall cook spagetti :X lol~ easy meh :X Hope it will turn out nice :S worried :P

planning our short trip :)

Met up with Ahlong and Suping to discuss our trip. Yes!!! Finally , we decided to go on a short trip to the BEACH , Phuket!!! i have been long waiting to play water sports. (my dear dislikes) :P I wanna try the parachute!!! its a MUST for me. I have been to phuket when i was very young. Primary school i think with my BIG tree family. Was to young, the person say i cannot play :X sian~

It was a very last minute thingy [air tickets book at no discount ]:( . Because of  Mr Ding and  Mr Ong JOB. Dates can only be set on first two weeks of SEPT. But 2nd week is school holidays, Air tickets damn ex. So we decided on the First week. Abit worried for me, Cause its Month end/starting of month. Closing needs to be done :P I will definetly finish my work before i go enjoy myself de, no worries :)

Hotels also booked :) we simply just lazy to view & compare some more hotels. There is simply too many hotels to choice from. HEADACE. so we decided on DEEVANA Patong Resort . http://www.deevanapatong.com/ , Hope its a nice acceptable place. Won't expect it will be very good. As its very cheap, one room only SGD$130.26 (for 3 nights stay). See from review that there is lots of mosquitoes. CHEERS! just hope dont rain rain rain :X

We went to catch a movie :X "Old Cow Vs Tender Grass". I was fighting with my dear whether the main actress Crystal Lin is a malaysian or taiwanese ? lol~ i lose... i guess~ lol.. after reading from the internet. Slap myself... I keep on insist that she is a malaysian. Cause i always listen to 933fm while i was working. Thought i heard them interviewing them that she was a malaysian :X OPS :X SORRY :P

She is a Taiwanese Singer & actress :)  Pretty babe :)

The show is not only about "Old Cow Vs Tender Grass"  is more like a typical singaporean TAXI uncle life story :X Very funny indeed. The HUSKY in the movie is damn beautiful. And i never knew 933fm,Siau Jiahui can act. Her role in the movie is a CHINA lady who came to Singapore to work as a FULL time NURSE than at night, part-time job as a BEER girl at KOPITIAM :X not a bad show, Hui ge is very hilarious!!! i shall rate it 7/10.
LONG weekends coming our way~ Hooray!!! Enjoy everyone! Gonna meet up with my buddies on friday!

jeslyn jie b'day!!!

It was a sunday... Met up with karen, michelle and b'day girl, Jeslyn jie jie ~ they are my first office job Kakis :) Jeslyn was the one we taught me things. You know first office job its like everything so new. Even a simple photocopier will give you a headace :P She request to go somewhere with "WATER" to release her stress at work plus part time studies~ so i recommended to go VIVO :) Cause east coast so far, west coast nothing~ sentosa so troublesome :X lol~ We had lots of fun and FOOD :P
We had japanese gourmet food, its a 4-in-1 dining restaurant that offers you delicacies of 4 different restaurant namely AJISEN from Kyushu, BOTEJYU from Osaka, YOSHIMI from Hokkaido & 4th i don't know what issit :X lol~ Snap a pic, but finger covered by jeslyn :X Search the internet but they say the restaurant only shows 3 different restaurant? Maybe there was some changes to it already "-"

Top Left : Karen had seafood TOM YUM mee , not much taste and the mee is really maggie mee.

Top Right : Michelle had dry noodles, its yellow noodles . And its really dry. But nice :)

Bottom Right : i had a mixture of dry noodles with the Okonomiyaki .  

Overall : 6.5/10 (not really tempting the food, only the Okonomiyaki can give a 8/10)

Jeslyn Present plus cutting of small cake. Me and karen when over to "AWFULLY CHOC. to get a small little "Cold Poached Chocolate". Her present, her fav. hello kitty stuff :)

Cold Poached Chocolate. Top part its CREAM and bottom its like choc fudge kind. very RICH, but not sweet as usual. The cream has abit of alcohol taste of it. Somthing new :) but i still prefer the cakes & ice cream.

Oh!!! my colleague, Mavis, told me the delicious GIOTTO choc. are from EUROPE.. So friends heading there. Please help me to get. Heard CANDY EMPIRE is selling. But i think DAMN ex:X i have not go check it out. Mavis told me she can buy half a luggage pack with GIOTTO~ Imagine how delicious it is and of course how cheap it is than to buy in singapore :X Thanks to the organiser at the flea who treated us the CHOC. :S i'am like CRAVING for it already.. shits :P

Yummy~Cinnamon Buns

Saw this at 313 somerset Bl... Was waiting for friends to arrive ;) So me and dear got two different favours to try :) Love the Cinnamon bread itself, its soft and tasty :)
 I've got the pecan with cheese , dear got the Blue berry :P  they have a few flavours. Its just like DONUT with alot of different toppings. But this is like Cinnamon bread with difft toppings :) NICE!!!

Overall i rate it : 7/10.
Not a bad show. I thought it will be like those Harry Porter kind of show (boring kind). But it turns out to be a great fantasy movie, It was comical yet exciting. Different from the usual Nicholas Cage's  with all the fighting parts.

Dinner , AH LOY THAI at Shaw Tower :

Their home made ice lemon tea. You can really taste the LIPTON TEA added with a lemon :)

There is also TOMYUM fish soup they ordered :X busy eating so forgotten to snap a pic of it. And also i don't eat CHILLY stuff. So totally nEver touch it. Their service was Super slow. We waited like HALF and hour to see the dishes COME in one by one. With like say 5 -10mins interval. Hungry to no strength to snap le .Just eat only :X lol~ Shall rate it  6.5/10. Can get to eat nicer THAI food outside. All the dishes are nice except the PINEAPPLE rice.

Movie TIME!!! THE CRAZIES~

 

This show its really crazy!!! GROSS :X its like the movie "SAW" where you see how they KILL the victims. A very terrifying show, makes you panic . Those got HEART attack or weak heart, better dont watch it. Scary but not that bad. 6.5/10 .
Wanted to watch INCEPTION :X but its like no space everytime we wanna book that time. So give up :X  But we got free small popcorn :x for every two person. Cause JC got this Passion card promo :)
