红炸弹!!!

Super happy for her :) She kept from us!!! and now reveal out :X Her wedding card are not ready yet. Just a email from her :) BUDDY mei nu(elaine) ... i think i will tear out sia~ but happy tears.. recall back .. my dear buddi copper's wedding. Now with a going to one year old little pretty gal , natalyn lim!!! Will be attending her b'day celebration soon:) Oh.. karen's little boy, Le le also just pass his one year old b'day!!! could not attend , casue its like in malysia, JB. Owe le le his present, "ah yi" will pass to your mummy okie!!!

its all about food~

Lantern festival on the way!!! Mavis can do LOTS of stuff :) and i'am so thankful i have such a colleauge of mine :X From CNY all the way till X'mas~ whole year i will get to eat handmade food/things from her :)
She made snow skin moon cake for us this time :) with hello kitty(strawberry fillings) and winnie the pooh (pandan fillings) mold. Cute!!! and its nice too! Too much for me , i shared it with my sister :)

We girls (5 0f us) had it on a thursday dinner after work~ LONG Q~ but i was lucky that my work place was the furtest amoung them. So when i reached. It was time to get in!!!
We were sitted at a weird place. Where people outside can See us !!! even touch us. Cause its open up :X Abit weird~ and its like so dangerous. Dont put your bags. People can just grab and GO!!!

And ready on your mark~ this timer is super ACCURATE~ NOt a minute or or lesser!!! Cause the receipts shows the TIME at the moment we get our sits!!!


ops:X when i took the pic. Its like food all almost gone!!! You know singaporean :X its like they serve the food out, abit slow :X Alot of empty ones at time :X  , heard the spagheeti was nice (i did not have it, too much, as i just cook for dear's family in my previous blog ) The pizza looks nice. But i find its to HARD! its more of thoe ITALY kind of pizza~

The dessert place (only one fridge) It states there is about 40 variesties of dessert, but i dont think so~ i did not get to see the "Dancing Yaki Moch" at all ,that states in a food blog. And maybe it was due to they change their dessert on and off, so there are some you wont get to taste of it when its your turn, you can only grab 5 at a time for dessert:

Crepes :) three flavours~

We had the apple caramel and all time fav. choc. banana :)

Not to bad~ the crepes is super thin. But we find the apple caramel abit weird. Because the apples are not that fresh kind :X and the caramel mixed with apple abit Of taste :X Choc. banana was nicer :) the other flavour Mixed berry we did not have it :X

YUmmy !!! The dessert are nice :) I love the custard pudding , cheese cake, mango pudding, my all time fav. custard puff. actually , all the others are nice too :)

FONDUE!!! i was over joyed when i saw this. Too my much surprise. There is only THREE kind of things you can DIP it with~ Oh goosh~ only green apple , pineapple & mushmellow~  Can see from the pathetic pic of it small counter only :X

The other side of it. Are drinks :)





They have soft drinks , hot drinks & etc:)
Chirst ask a Q : will we go visit this restaurant again ??? ans : NO from us :X as the time really irritate us. We were like rushing for time. But a good try for first time. If you were there simply never talk u can go for it. Its like you cannot enjoy your dinner~ Quite worth as you get to eat differnt kind of dessert. I did not tried the BREAD section at all. Cause it looks normal sandwich kind for me :)

next~ its friday!!! i always wanted to try "ASTONS" - known for cheap Western set meals.
But its always long Q at The Cathay Building!!! So dear say Sembawang has it , so we decided to go over to give it a try!!!

After viewing the website than i know there is quite a no. of place has it already :)
His main dish, black pepper chicken with two side dish you can choice from , mashed potatoe and coleslaw :
he was singing to the resturant songs :X as they played those country songs :X very catchy :P And at the same time, happy, cause he thought that for such price, the portion will be very small. Much surprise it wasn't :) great!!!

Its defintely worth the price ;) We ate all up !!! super full~ lol~

According to this food blog. People go there for STEAKS :X and the comments were not good :X me and dear are not really steak kind of person. So did not try out too ~  Those thinking to try their steak. Can read up on this first :)
Value for money and nice food. Will defintely go back for more. IF there is no long Q :X
Cheap right :) Compare to other western restaurant places ~ Great deal!!!

simple cream sauce spaghetti

Its my turn to cook :) our usual sunday after our swim . Went over to adam's place to COOK :)
We were late as PEPPER grooming end up late :( poor pepper he was at the shop for about 5 hours:X his apointment was early morning 11am. The person say it will finish by 3pm :X but it was only done at around 4pm :X went to pick him up. Go over, reach adam's place already 5 plus, 6pm :X Get working :P before that~ saw this super adorable poodle :) super cute lor, just like pepper seek attention. I was just standing.. he/she kept on running towards me wants me to sayang :) And than suddenly he/she got tired wana sleep :P cute~ i miss Brownie!!! ( ahlong's puppy, sold off to his frd le)

amended abit by me :P

cream sauce spaghetti (not much pics, did not have the time to take :x)
Spaghetti – 1 and a half packet . (for 5 of us. But was too much :x) Recommend One and 1/4.
Button mushroom - 1 big can
Ham  - Mixture of small bits ham,  i've got from FARIPRICE about $2.10.
Bacon - i brought fresh ones from the HAM counter, 200gram (about 5-6 slices) 100gram is abt $1.60.
Garlic - Did not get (cause Dear and Dear's elder sister dislike Garlic )
Mozeralla Cheese  - i brought the one that people make pizza kind :X $6 plus
Carnation Milk (aka Condensed / Evaporation) – 1 can
Campbell Mushroom Soup – 1 to 2 cans. ( i use up two cans. But same as spaghetti it was too much. If its for 1and half packet, it will be just nice.)

1) Boil the spaghetti with oil and salt. ( i was argueing with DEAR!, i told him must use OIL. He keep on NO.. where got need OIL? Than here comes his MUM. Oh yes~ must put abit of OIL. BLEH~ Keep on saying i dont know how to cook lar. Than he wana do :X )
Boil it till you see the spaghetti abit fatter :P kekeke~ we were using the electric thingy. So it takes damn long to cook it :X FIRE is better and SAVE MONEY. Electric very EX. the bills come will kill u :) Rise the spaghetti with tap water. After that use abit of BUTTER to mix around ( dear's mum taught us). It will taste nicer and not so sticky :)
3) Slice the mushrooms/ham/bacon.
Ham - Brought from NTUC already slice in bits.Mixture of differnet HAM.
mushrooms - Cut into half
4) Heat up the pan with 1 teaspoon oil
( fry the bacon first)

5) Fry garlic till nice smell - Did not did this step.
6) Add in ham/bacon/mushroom
7) Fry for another 5-10mins till you can smell the fragrance.
8) Remove them to a plate. U will notice there water/oil produced by the mushroom/bacon. U can choose to keep it or not . ( i did not keep the Bacon OIL or WATER . Health caution :X )

9) Pour Campbell Soup into pot. Add 1 can water : 1 can of Campbell soup
10) Add Carnation milk to thicken the soup. Add as much as u wish the soup thickness too be. Remember its cream sauce afterall so u might not want it to be very very thick
11) Add cheese. Cheese is to add taste and fragrance to the cream sauce. If they like cheese a lot, u may add a lot. Rem to stir it well upon adding in if not cheese will get into lumps.
12) Add fried ingredients in once soup is boiling
13) Let it simmer 5-10mins
14) Serve it on top of spaghetti
15) Add cheese or bacon bits. You can choose other garnishes.

Adam snap us busying in his kitchen :X thats dear's mum and me washing something in the basin and dear dont know doing what:X I think he was eating snack... He can cook and eat snack at the same time :P We finish our swim. So he is like super hungry~ me too!!! but did not have the time to snack abit :X

Dear's elder sister was making bacon with "JING ZHEN GOU"~



and we have also made nuggets and the chicken wrap with seaweed . So its like CNY like that:X Soo many people in the kitchen.
Overall, it turns out to be able to eat :) Its nice~ but gets full very easily because of the cheese!!!
cooking is FUN and tiring!!! And knowledge is needed. Not just cook only :X Next week!!! we suggest just go out and eat ba :X lol~
