took off on 05th April 2011 ~
Supposely too have three couples going. Which is me and dear , alicia and her "ex-bf". They broke off but air tickets already bought long ago last year. Came to know eileen and her bf too~ Broke off... But they still went together as friends.
Alicia lose a ex bf.. but she still gain the air tickets free. And also she had a new LOVER, lawrence :). Giving her $$$ on her taiwan expense $1.2k SGD !!! Enough le lar~ don't have to feel sad :P relationship is so messy, fragile ~ so what if its a 8 years or only 2 years of relationship. Anything can happen! Enough~ this trip suppose to be partly my pre-wedding photo shoot trip. Don't want it to sound like me and dear is on the rocky side :P We are fine :) both striving hard to earn $$$, can't wait for our new house to arrive~ hugs :)
05th April 2011 - First day of trip!!!
Hugs~ every overseas i went. My parents will always make this chance to send me off. Even this is like early morning, on weekdays. They still woke up as excited as me to send me to airport. When was the last time i get to sit my dad's car~ Its like ages. We stay in the same house. But seldom got chance to talk much to each other due to our working time. And most weekends i'am at dear's house. Mummy and my sister ask me to spend more time at home, if not when i get married , it will be worst ~ hai yo, we are going to be just a few kilometers away... No worries~ k :,,,,(
back to the trip! We arrive at changi airport T1, had breakfast with my parents at burger king. Airport food no cheap. the burgers does not comes in a set. hashbrowns & drinks got to buys separatly, not like those outlet outside, it usually comes in a set. Rental ex i guess :X alicia , eileen and rander arrive later, so we met each other at the GATE!!!
BEAR!!! those who knows me, know that i'am a beary person!!! Cannot stop me to go near them... i will run over and touch, hug them :) Can tel??? see my bag hanging two sweet bears :X Duffy and shelia~ and not fogotten my TEDDY who sleeps with me inside the luggage, check in le:P

inside the plane. And 4 hours of nap, playing games , reading magazine. We have reached.
This is one of the bus you can take from the airport to go to taipei city. Once you reach taoyuan airport. when exit, Turn left walk all the way straight , you will see different buses of booth. Tell them your hotel in taipei they will bring you there. ( look at the pic, those red wordings, are more popular hotels, that they will send you directly to the hotel door step) Price is about : NT140. so much cheaper than taking a cab. This time round. We are going to stay at "mingsu" that means HOMESTAY~ Which they make the rooms specially nice for travellers to stay :)
i show them the map , address of the homestay~ The driver say will send us to the nearest hotel. its about a 45 mins bus ride. From airport to taipei town :)
With a little map i had from the homestay auntie ~ We cross a few streets, asked one passerby ( actually she approached us , nice lady) Think she see us dragging our luggage feeling lose. In the end dear asked a bus driver :) And we followed his directions and reached!!! The owner of the homestay, which we call her "ah yi" was shock that we can make our way there without callling them to ask for directions :P cool~ lol, Ah yi show us our rooms and explain to us some neccessary useful things to make our way to the places we wanna go ;) Nice lady, we asked her about the bridal shop, she say just take 3 bus stops away~ COOL!!! MRT 10 mins away, Bus stop 8mins away~
The outside of the Homestay is HOrrible OLD~ can hear complaining complaining!!! hai yo! you pay that cheap. of course DON'T expect much . But to my understanding, taiwan buildings all like old old de :X hope the rooms are okie!!! she show us to our 3 bedded room, ermh :X its a very homely room. Bed kind of hard, bedsheets dont know got wash anot de :P cause looks like not that CLEAN :x But overall, floor , toilet all clean , okie :) But the heater awhile hot, awhile cold :X very irritating when bathing. Cause the weather is cold outside~ nothing particular :) i dont mind staying because of the price.
CHEAP!!! and its like HOMELY~ real like home :P
we stayed the 小上海3人房~ i love their two bedded room, 【赫本Lily】雙人套房 & 【黑白Jazz】雙人套房. Nice concept. But because there is three of us :X bo bian, have to book a three bedded room.
if you are looking for a comfortable nice hotel room. Better dont book. okie~ to me its only a place for me to sleep that few hours at night~ i'am okie :X not a "em chim" person. But to alicia, she got a night that she felt that bed is dirty :X she itch here and there~ dont know y :X but that is already a few nights later than she felt uncomfortable :X and dear say he won't wana stay this place the next time :X erhm~ to him, he say he rather pay more to stay hotel :) these 9 days of homestay are all book by me! both of them lazy bum~ bo bian.. i did all the home work myself :( , i did ask for their suggestions, they just say okie okie, anything. BOOK!!!
Its in a mess due to us :X but when we first step in its tidy de, no worries :)
Look at this!!! damn nice right!!! complains from eileen that the bed is hard and one of the night the heater spoil ( she came knocking on our door to use the toilet ) ~ still okie. After spoil the second day they come and repair le. Quite fast efficient :)
after settling down, we make our way to our bridal shop. Easy to take bus. And once alight i can see the shop just opposite :) cool~ no need to go searching or missing :X
We spend about an hour to settle dears shooting wear first! than we ask them where to have food! we went to grab food first ~ the weather was about 19 degree ~ cold cold when the wind blow, shiver :P
After everything ~ we head to shi ling night market to have dinner and for a walk :) i'am not allowed to snap pics of the gowns :( soooooo~ NO pics!!! did secrectly snap. But can't reveal :P bleh~
We shop till midnight~ regardless of us taking our wedding shoots. We still play to late night!!
06th April 2011 - 2nd day of our trip
the next day ~ All alicia's port-folio~ lol~ She had great time ~ cause if you travel free an easy , also won't come to all these places ~ journey far :) with us having out pre-wedding photo shoot.. and she helping us to secretly snap , at the same time had fun!!! Good weather! woo hoo~ the sun was kind of glaring at times :)
awww~ this little huskie ~ That women in the pic was my make up artist who went ard with us !!! alicia and her was having fun :) we were busy~ me dear , camera man and two assistant ~ having fun shooting!!!
thanks alicia :) joking lar~ everybody finds you an extra :X it was fun~ Having you around! besides you wake up late, make up also take very long :X lol~ Dear rocks too:) carry two ladies shopping stuff :X
after a whole day with SMILING!!! head to shi ling night market for dinner:P and SHOP again~
Yummy~ ended our night again late :X when back lie on bed sleep straight. Next day is to WU FEN PU, before that need to go back bridal shop to choice pics !!! You might sometimes see eileen ard smt not. They both actually go explore their own, because these few, three front days, most of the time was given to the bridal shop. Only alicia has always been with us :)
07th April 2011 - 3rd day
wake up abit more later than usual ~ have to head to the bridal shop at 1.30pm :X in the end we were one hour late :X lol~ Tired ~ took a bus down, when to eat first than went over :X lol~ My eyes looks so weird from this day onwards~ cause after removing the thick make up for my bridal shoot, my double eye lid like when WRONG line~ lol~ (don't quite understand , right:x) kekkeke~ ehrm~ because she paste those sticker eyelid thing on my left eye~ beacuse she say my eyes one side the double lid is upper/lower. So need to paste till Accurate :X Than when i remove the sticker my usual eyelid cannot come back lor :(
Grab a cup of bubble tea than when over to sit at the bridal shop to choice pics for 3-4hours?!?!
Than when to Wu fen PU ! later to rao he night market ;) here's Wu Fen pu!!! shop till drop.
than walk over to rao her Ye shi ~ grab food~ yummy... this place has lots of good food :) Yummy!!!
Everyday sure one cup of BUBBLE TEA!!! :P We end our night!!! And get back to pack our following trip to TAICHUNG --> sun moon lake ---> Ching JING !!! woo hoo~ Lucky owner of the "ming su" say can let us put our luggage at their house for the time being :) If not we got to drag to the Luggage centre. Its cheap one item NT 17 for one day~ COOL!!! its nearby the MRT :) We will do that on the last day of check out. Cause our Flight is night time. So after check out we will place it there first :) And the Bus to take to Taoyuan is also at TAIPEI TRAIN STATION there~ But its quite a distance... Have to drag a few Roads to reach the bus terminal to take bus to airport :P Cool~
Off we go~ You see all the first time taking , so "KU KU" take pic take pic:X there are a few entrance! So better ask before getting in. cause there is like Executive sits and so on. Ours we buy normal de lor.. Economic :X its NT 700 to one way ticket to TAI CHUNG ~
Its real fast. About 30mins we reached :) we got on the straight route to taichung... they have differnt timing where some train will have to stop at different station. So lucky.. we just walk up got in and OFF we go !!! i think only stop once at another Stop :) can't remember :X But its really fast !

Parissilk also do sell! i think a few dollars cheaper only. But they are not located in the west or any where nearer. At that point when i wanna buy. It was out of stock most of the places. So in the end i end up buying at SIM LIM :) recommend by su ping ( they got their camera s11 there). Back to taiwan :X lol~
We reached our destination !!! took pics of "Gou Tia" =台湾高铁= THRS = Taiwan High Speed Rail Way. BTW, inside like Aeroplanes got people serve snacks , drinks :)
We got to take buses in to SUN MOON LAKE. Once you reach taichung exit (5 or 6) to the bus station . There is a counter there. He will explain to you. I got a bus timing schedule from him. Cause these buses don't come every few minutes! so planning of time is important . Normally buses route is from TAI CHUNG --> PULI ---> Sun Moon Lake . There are buses that goes directly. But you must catch the time. Lucky we got the straight bus to SUN MOON LAKE!!! Can see the bus fare is NT180 :) one way trip.. If its round trip i think a few dollars cheaper :)
We arrive at SUN MOON LAKE~ after a nap in bus!!! Excited to see the lake!!! Grab a "OR NI" snack on our way walking to hotel. Its crispy not too sweet nice.. But kind of DRY :) Only about a 5-10mins from the Bus stop that we alight. cool. The hotel is located near the harbour~
Reached early so did not check in yet. But our bags at hotel lobby~ go maken walk walk first :)
Yummy ?!?! maybe its just not singapore taste :X only the RICE very nice.. like PEARL rice, fragrance of rice , i give full marks :P Other than that i like the FISH only :X Pretty lady serve us ~ Think she is the owner of the restaurant. Dear simply cannot keep his eyes of her :P Than he goes again.. Anyhow ka siao SNAP ~

After that, we head off to take ferry, about a 10mins away island :) Eileen and rander got to buy the tickets. As for us, we got the tickets together from the hotel ~woo hoo!!! off we went :)

I only know i must eat a famous egg , which my colleagues have been telling me "VERY NICE" !!! must eat.. The only attraction at there :P TRUE, indeed ~ We arrived and its like.. alot of people crowd around there.. Buying EGGS!!! i took order and tiny me, find a hole squeeze and went in to buy for them ( dear dont eat HARD BOIL EGGS at all). There was no Q~ all just Shout across and Squeeze in ! Horrible :P 
Walked and eat our eggs up the hillS!!! The egg is super nice. YESH!!! but no thanks, not another one. my stomach cannot take so much hard boil eggs at a time will soon get sick of it. I saw people like eating ALOT!!! Crazy~ one red colour plasitc bag, full of eggs, 4 people sitting down, peeling the shell, eating one after another~ madness :X

our pleasant room :) eileen and rander leave us and head back to taichung~ to stay a night!! the next day we all will head to ching jing. Hopefully can see them there!!!
and the other side of balcony the sun set!!! damn cool~ seeing it going down. It takes like only a few minutes and the sun is gone!!! never in my life i get to see the whole process of it :)

Good morning!!! Sun is out~ again slwoly you see it coming up up up!!! and the lake was peaceful in the morning~ i woke up and ask dear and alicia to wake and see the sun rise!!! Alicia was cool her bed is just beside the window, so she just pull open the curtains, she can just lie there and watch~ cool ar!!!

We had nice breakfast in the hotel (free) include ~ and off we went!!!
nice ar~ bye bye sun moon lake, And thanks to the taiwan lady who help us to get this hotel at a discount!!! with free ferry tickets for three of us~ its worth.. But its rather a boring place just to enjoy the scenery , cooling weather and of course a romantic night place for couples :) relax~
our bus come!!! remember you have to catch the time if these buses. Make sure you are at the bus stop! and enough EXACT coins!!! we have not enough small change, so this lady actually gave us a few dollars ! TQ~
we are back to puli bus station to go off to ching jing.
